Kalu Onyeamu Kalu, a Chartered Accountant and a leasing expert, is a graduate of Accountancy from Ibadan Polytechnic, Nigeria. He is also a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Member of Certified Institute of Cost Managers (CICM). He holds an MBA in Cost Management from Ladoke Akintola University Ogbomosho and MBA in Marketing from University of Nicosia, Cyprus.

Kalu worked as an Accountant with Frank Charles Nigeria Limited and Alatta Nzewi & Co., a firm of Chartered Accountants as Audit Senior before joining C & I Leasing in 2002 where he worked in internal control Department as Assistant Internal Auditor and in various units of the Finance Department. He was the Head of Operations and Payroll (Finance Control) before he was seconded to Leasafric Ghana, as Head of Finance and Administration in October 2010.  He was subsequently appointed General Manager of Leasafric in November 2014 and was confirmed Managing Director in August 2018. He exited C and I Leasing Plc/ Leasafric Ghana in 2020 after seventeen years of active service. 

Kalu joined Ghana Life Insurance in September 2021 as the Head of Finance and left in November 2024 to run his own private business.

Kalu has attended several management and leadership courses both local and oversea. He is also a board member of African Leasing Association and Lease Advisor to International Finance Corporation, (IFC), a   member of the World Bank Group that focuses on private sector growth and investment in developing countries.
